Question:
Can I enter a 9 hole round in the free handicap program?

Answer:
Yes...as long as its a regulation golf course and not a par 3 or executive course. You can either just double up your score and use the correct rating and slope of the course. Or you can just pencil down the score if you know you are playing another 9 holes on the same course in the near future and add them together. Both ways are acceptable.

Question:
I've entered my scores in the free handicap software program but its still not showing me my handicap

Answer:
Make sure that after entering your score, that you click on "enter new score" button. The screen will refresh and you will see that round posted below under your history. Once you have five scores in your history, the handicap graph will show your handicap.

Question:
October 10th, 2007. I just received multiple emails from Golfpartners.com and wish not to receive these...what can I do?

Answer:
We apologize for this mistake. GolfPartners.com only sends out 1 email per month to all members letting them know of new features and to check the integrity of email addresses to protect our members and to keep our member info fresh. Remember when signing up, this is a golf partner site and its function is for golfers to email each other looking for partners to play with. If any person or company emails you or misuses this feature, please let us know asap and we will delete them from the system. Please don't use an email address that is restricted or one that you don't wish to recieve these emails such as you company address if your company does not allow.

You can change your email address under "My Profile" on the left toolbar. We were updating our email program and a glitch sent out multiple emails to members and we sincerely apologize.

If you wish not to recieve the monthly email, please email us "Delete my Membership" and we will take care of it the very same day.

Question:
I signed up but now I can't log on to the site.

Answer:
Remember, both username and password are case sensitive. Use the forgot password feature to have your username and password emailed to you or email us and we will send it to you. IMPORTANT: The email address you use when registering must be a valid email address as long as you are a member. You can change the address if you change email address through your profile link. Any member that uses a invalid email address will be deleted from the system and all handicap scores will be lost. This is a protection feature to keep unwanted spammers from the site.

Question:
When searching for a partner, can you set it up to search multiple cities?

Answer:
When searching, you have to choose a single city or major destination. We have just completed a new "extend radius" feature allows members to pick a city and then expand the search radius to surrounding communities up to 100 miles away. You can also post your own tee time or regular or specific availability to multiple cities even if they are the same time. For example, you can post that you are available every Thursday afternoon in as many cities as you want.

Question:
There is no golf courses in my town but I play in a city next to me but there is no course info so I can place reviews, what can I do?

Answer
We are busy adding courses everyday and night, updating 16,000 listing we already have. Members get priority and we usually have your city completed within a few days after the first member joins in that city. If for some reason you don't have courses in that city or you need us to add a city and its courses, let us know and we'll have it done in a day or so. You can also let us know if there are new courses in a area so we can add those also.

Question:
How long will membership be free and what will be the cost later ?

Answer:
Right now we believe membership will be free for 1 year. Afterwards we will look at either charging our advertisers or having a very inexpensive membership fee....less than $20 a year and that would more than likely include a golf hat and T-Shirt, not a bad deal considering if you use our service, just 1 outing with a member and paying a guest rate rather than a walk-on will save you upwards of $100 each time. We saw a golf dating site that will be charging $159 a year.....we want to save you money...not charge you money.
